Duluth, MN… Bluebird Foundation Spring Grants, in the amount of $500 each, will be awarded to nine High School aged students in the performing arts tomorrow night (Friday April 26) at a presentation at the VIP Pizza Banquet Center on Tower Avenue in Superior beginning at 6PM. The recipients and awards are:
Bill Sandwick Songwriter/Music Creativity Award: Braeden Showen, Hermantown High School
James Stellmaker – Big Daddy’s Brass Award: Lawson Burkhart, Northwestern High School
John D Munsell Theater Award: Coleman Lukasavitz, Harbor City High School
C.M.”Bud Schultz Music Award: Noah Blomquist, Hermantown High School
Rose Mary Harmeier Hoene Dance Award: Hanna Searls, Elpida School of Fine Arts
Dewey Asbach Performing Arts Achievement Award: Abrianna Schmidt, Minnesota Connections Academy
Mark Anderson Jazz Award: Milla Beldo, Denfeld High School
Charles “Chuck” Main Percussion Award: Jonah Stocke, Lakeview Christian Academy
JCC Services Music Recognition Award: Merissa Witte, Cloquet High School
