Bluebird Foundation Announces Winter Scholarship Recipient


 

Duluth MN

The Bluebird Foundations 2016 Audrey A Lundeen Scholarship Recipient is Brianna Williams from Denfeld H.S.

 

The Bluebird Foundation announced the recipient of the Audrey A Lundeen Scholarship at their Christmas by the Lake CD Release Party last night Clyde. Brianna Williams was selected for the $1500 scholarship

Brianna is involved in Dance, Theater, Vocal and Instrument Music.
She participates in Concert Choir, Chamber Choir and the Women's Choir at Denfeld. She’s received a Superior rating at Solo Ensemble for solo, women’s choirs, and chamber choir. Also an honor choir participant for 2015-2016 and 16-17. All State Choir in 2016.

 

Brianna plans to pursue a career in Music Therapy and ASL Interpreting Her plans include attending either LSC and then transferring to a four year university or attending UMD to Major in Music Education with a minor in psychology

 

In her own words Brianna says the arts are an important part of her life because they have given me a reason to keep going every day. Whenever things get hard she turns to the arts to pull her thru. She wants to share her love for music and help people.

As if Brianna’s involvement in the performing arts aren’t enough she also participates in FIRST Robotics!
