The Bluebird Foundation Announces 2015
Audrey A. Lundeen Scholarship Application Process

The Bluebird Foundation is proud to announce the awarding of the second annual Audrey A. Lundeen Scholarship at the Christmas by the Lake CD release party on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at the Clyde Iron Works Event Center.

It is the mission of the Bluebird Foundation to be an advocate for area youth in the performing arts and to create awareness of the power of the arts to enhance self-esteem, to increase understanding of others, and to improve academic performance.

The scholarship is named to honor the late Audrey A. Lundeen, the inspiration for the Bluebird Foundation. Audrey was the mother of Bluebird founder and President Tracy Lundeen.

The Audrey A. Lundeen Bluebird Scholarship is intended for current high school seniors who plan to pursue their interests in dance, theater, or music (vocal or instrumental) in college or some other advanced arts training beyond high school. The student does not need to plan to major in dance, theater, or music but must plan to do advanced study/training to keep the arts a part of their lives. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one senior to use for his/her advanced training in the arts.

Application forms are available here. Completed forms may be submitted online to the same address or mailed to: Bluebird Foundation c/o Tracy Lundeen  2828 Piedmont Avenue  Duluth, MN 55811 by 4:00 pm on October 30th, 2015.

Along with the completed application form, applicants must also include a letter of recommendation from a teacher or coach familiar with the student’s artistic achievements and interests. Recommendations may also be submitted online or mailed to the address noted.

The Bluebird Foundation will also be awarding their third annual individual music, dance, and theater scholarship awards this spring.

Students, teachers, or coaches should call 218-591-9004 with questions about the Bluebird Foundation and its scholarship program.

The Bluebird Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) with the Internal Revenue Service.
